Through an open call hosted and judged by The Queens Culture & Arts Network , Port Authority of NY & NJ and Variety Boys and Girls Club, Plushie was chosen from countless submissions to design a mural for one of La Guardia Airport’s Parking Garage. The mural was designed to express many Queens monuments and favorite places to visit in the borough to encourage travelers to see it for themselves. Plushie, being Queens raised, included a total of 15 places and sights to enjoy in Queens based on her personal love, experience and shared memories of her and her loved ones in Queens. With the help of her team, they painted a total of 420 sq ft. Located in La Guardia Airport’s Terminal B 2nd floor parking garage, travelers from all around the world and returning New Yorkers alike, will get to see this nostalgic and comic book style inspired guide to Queens as they await for their Lyfts and Uber.
Here’s an article based on the reveal of the mural on La Guardia’s 86th birthday on December 2nd, 2025
Better Together is a Polaroid portrait of two monster besties spending time together under a full moon, one of the most magical times in the month. Being isolated and separated from one another because of our differences in these times is only going to draw us further away from building community and cultivating love. Some of the best ways to make a change is to make a friend and really let that friendship blossom naturally. This was a submission to Boone Avenue Walls 2025 mural festival located in the Bronx.
From the last collaboration between Plushie and Thrive Collective to paint six mini polytab murals in the auditorium of PS171 Magnet School of the Arts. They asked for Plushie to return for a second round of six more mini murals during summer break, leaving a total of twelve mini murals surrounding the entire auditorium. A gift from Principal Kavourias to her new and returning students on summer break for when they go to the school in the fall.
Plushie and her team give back to Astoria by partnering with Central Astoria LDC and NYSBS to paint a 900 sq ft mural for the community on Newtown Rd and 30th Ave. Representing resilience and hope through the power of community, the plant creatures come together and maintain a garden. Each having their own task like cultivating the soil, watering the plants, or helping one another to do tasks together. Bringing to life Corn flowers, Gladiolus flowers, Tulips and Sakura blossoms all around them.
She’s a hex girl and she’s gonna put a spell on you! She’s hexed our friend Frog here and turned them into a toad!
Making a dream come true for her inner child, Plushie painted this 100 sq ft mural in her childhood neighborhood on 30th ave and Main Ave in the summer of 2025.
In the summer of 2025, Plushie was invited to partake in Astoria’s biggest mural event, Welling Walls. Local and visiting artists partnered up with the Welling Court and Astoria residents to paint murals and celebrate community and bring positivity during hard times. This mural is meant to highlight and emphasize the importance of love of family whether it be chosen or blood.
FUNdamentals Pt.1
This project was a sentimental collaboration between Plushie and Thrive Collective to paint six mini polytab murals in the auditorium of PS171 Magnet School of the Arts. This project is sentimental because it also happened to be the very same primary school Plushie went to when she was a little girl! Honoring the the school’s fundamentals and with the help of some of the school’s second and third grade students, they brought to life the spirit of 171 for future classes to come to enjoy.
In a world where climate change is being continuously ignored and disregarded by big chain companies, you can hear the sounds of the trees and forests weeping at night. Inspired by rare rainbow eucalyptus trees.
Whether under a big blue sky or getting warmed up by the vibrant sunsets, you'll find all sorts of friends at Hunter's Point South Park! LIC Parks and Frank Ottomanellis partnered up with Plushie and other artists to install murals by the waterfront. Here's a snapshot of some of the majestic things you'll find in the area.
Long live Inktober! For this year’s prompts I decided to give myself the safe space to play with textures and color to see how my journey unfolds and grows from beginning to end.

Vegan: The practice of abstaining from any animals or their byproduct in food or products.
Being Vegan myself, I believe in spreading the knowledge and love of what it is to be Vegan and it’s benefits in a fun and friendly manner. For a whole month on my instagram account I shared some of the knowledge I’ve learned through illustration of the research and personal experience I’ve had being Vegan thus far. It was to open the discussion with those who may be interested in it or for those who were considering the lifestyle and help fight against the stigma around the lifestyle. These are just a few of those illustrations.
